With digital x-rays, we can get higher quality images with significantly less radiation. In fact, digital x-rays have such low radiation, the American Dental Association does not even recommend using lead aprons or thyroid collars anymore (of course we still have them for those who would like them).
The intraoral camera is an amazing diagnostic tool for viewing different angles in the mouth. The camera gives us the ability to show you what we’re seeing so you can be fully aware of what’s going on in your mouth.
